(500) Days of Summer..
Here is an interesting review I stumbled upon — I watched the movie with a girl that is literally like Summer in so many ways. We also got involved in similar ways.. Started out as FWB, then we both went our own ways, then I showed up again one day at work when she had a BF—I admit, I messed that up. Then we became this mess with no name to it, and finally after months of ups and downs...

Life sucks 99%.
These days are not going so well. However, I need to tough it out for a couple more days and I will be far away from the things that constantly disappoint me. The things that constantly sadden me—why so much sadness? I think it is because I placed so much faith and care in them in the first place. I shouldn’t have, but I don’t regret it. I still believe I made the right decisions...

I do know.
Sometimes, when you are unable to express your emotions or give reasons for your feelings, it helps to borrow from what others have said and expressed. It kills me to stay speechless every time I am asked that question—“why do you love me?” What makes it worse is that I end up saying, “I don’t know,” like an idiot. What veracity can there be in those feelings if one does not know their cause?...

The morning of our flight out of Big Island, we spotted this gecko at a popular breakfast location. Shot with HV30, and edited with FCP. The colors of this reptile are amazing.

My first screenplay, written in class.
Adam: Hey, did you hear that Andrew is from Iowa?
John: What? Iowa?
Adam: Yeah. You know, somewhere in the middle. Lots of farmers.
John: First of all, I know of Iowa, thank you. Second, I don't think you should be generalizing like that.
Adam: Why not?
John: What do you mean why not?
Adam: You know that stereotypes are based on truths, right?
John: That's dumb. Most stereotypes are just ignorant exaggerations...
Adam: That are based on a real facts!
John: Look, it doesn't matter what they're based on! Just because they are based on true facts doesn't necessarily mean that the stereotypes are true.
Adam: Not necessarily... yes, but most of the time they are.
John: Are we seriously discussing this? I am sorry, but I am doubting our friendship right now.
Adam: Look John, I am not racist, or sexist!
John: I didn't say that.
Adam: Yes, you did! You're calling me racist just because I called Andrew a farmer.
John: That doesn't make any sense...
Adam: I am White, he is White. How can I possibly be racist?
John: Adam, I think you're confusing the concepts. I didn't call you racist. You're just too damn ignorant.
Adam: You realize we're both going to the same school, right? How does it feel going to school with an "ignorant" person like me?
John: Honestly, I ask that same question to myself everyday. Here's the thing--let's not talk about this anymore. How was your weekend?
Adam: Okay, fine! It was alright. I hung out with some friends. Went to the beach, you know, the usual.
John: Hmm, that's it?
Adam: Well, there was this one girl I bumped into. She was really cute.
John: Oh yeah, what's her name?
Adam: Her name is Chloe.
John: That's a pretty name. Did you get her number?
Adam: Yup! Her area code was different. Turns out, she's from Berkeley!
John: Berkeley?
Adam: Yeah, why?
John: Those damn tree-huggers.

Paper due tomorrow.
However, I can’t find the strength in myself to start it. Thankfully, the professor allowed me to take my final as a take-home instead of a 8 AM final that took place yesterday, due to my injury. Honestly, I have been busy with my injury literally for the past two weeks—the pain also gets to me sometimes. I mean, it doesn’t hurt that bad, but the problem is that it’s an...
